Elegance
Last month we had our interview with magazine Elegance with photography done by Corbino. It was a huge succes with a lot of positive and enthusiastic response afterwards. Who hasn't been able to see the interview (it's unfortunately in Dutch only), can have a look now.

POPA studio
Half of May POPA will have her own artstudio. It's a beautiful old, renovated house, with leaded windows and an atmosphere which inspires. Here the POPA-art can be looked at, business-meetings with POPA can take place and most probably we will have group-exhibitions here for POPA-friends. To make an appointment, please e-mail us. The address of the POPA-studio is: Johannahuis, POPA-atelier 219, Schouwweg 71, Wassenaar, the Netherlands. See the photo below for an impression of the artstudio.

Exhibition 'POPA & friends'
Finally, a POPA-exhibition with her friends will be a fact soon! The exhibition will take place in Sidac Studio in Leiden (Netherlands) from the 18th of July till the 25th of July 2005. It will be an exhibition with a lot of colour and positive passion. 10% of the sales price will be donated to organizations helping children. Some of the participating artists you can find on the following page.

POPA merchandize
POPA is very busy with the development of merchandize for a chain of shops! How we will continue with this we will tell you in our next newsletter!

Artworkshop De Morskring
In April we had workshops at several primary schools, one of them being 'De Morskring'. The final result can be viewed at the following photos (bottom of page). De Morskring has a yearly returning project period. This year De Morskring chose the theme 'Natural Morskring' with the subthemes: jungle, greenpeace, little animals above and under the ground, threatened animals and the farm. We have worked with children of different ages, varying from 4 till 12 years old. There were several publications about the POPA-workshop, here you can see one of them.

POPA exhibition
POPA has mainly solo-exhibitions at the moment (see the website). Due to all the business coming towards us, we haven't found the time for a POPA exhibition yet, but surely one will be in our next newsletter. We will keep you posted about our developments.
Have a look at our website for our art, photos, actions, plans and more: www.popa.nl

Kind regards from Barbara van Druten, Susana López and Soon Ja Terwee.
