POPA is an acronym for POsitive PAssion.
POPA is an art-movement which brings positivity through it's art. The POPA-ART is defined by bright colours and paintings which should bring happiness to the viewer. Paintings which shows tolerance about other cultures, and people as individuals. The founders of this movement are: Barbara van Druten, Susana López and Soon Ja Terwee. 10% of every sold artwork will be donated to an organization supporting children.

Hoera!!! POPA exists one year!
December 2004. Barbara, Soon Ja and Susana are creating plans about a new artmovement, which should not only make a statement through it's art, but also do something functional like helping children. POPA is born. One year filled with Positive Passion follows, a year with a lot of publicity, workshops for children, exhibitions, friends, sales and positive responses which make us realize POPA is necessary! We continue with a lot of enthusiasm, action is reaction, and we hope to contribute to a positive world! At the end of 2005 we donated a fabulous amount to different organazations helping children!
Have a look above to see the exact description of POPA.

Continued...Flair-woman-of-the-year
The Flair-woman-of-the-year election took place in Château Marquette in Heemskerk. The winner was Frederique Kallen with her foundation Mama Alice.
Foundation Mama Alice started 2004 with the task to improve the life of streetchildren in Ayacucho, Peru. Mama Alice started an orphan-home there. We think it's wonderfull and fantastic what Frederique does for these children. We wish her all the best and lot's of luck!

Artists....enter!
"For an educational project to raise funds offering scholarships in international colleges for students of underdeveloped countries we look for artists prepared to paint a small canvas or board (22 x 16 cm no other size) that we can supply. The work will be reproduced and promoted worldwide during six month trough an Internet site www.artofpeace2006.org and finally auctioned for fund raising. Atlantic College project is already 40 years old; the actual President of the movement is Nelson Mandela. With him we are convinced that mixing cultural differences at young age create future bridges for Peace.Ó mail to:f.paul.cavallier@online.fr
